Dermaplaning is a skin resurfacing procedure that uses a sterile surgical scalpel to gently shave the top layer of dead skin cells and vellus hair (peach fuzz) from your face. It's generally suitable for most skin types, particularly those looking for improved texture and radiance. However, it's best to consult with a skincare professional in Downtown Dubai to ensure it aligns with your specific skin concerns and conditions.

The main benefits of a dermaplaning facial include instantly smoother, softer skin, enhanced absorption of skincare products, and a flawless base for makeup application. It also helps to diminish the appearance of fine lines, improve skin tone, and promote a brighter, more youthful complexion for residents in Downtown Dubai.

For optimal results, dermaplaning is typically recommended every 3 to 4 weeks. This aligns with your skin's natural cell turnover cycle, ensuring that you maintain the smooth, glowing effects. The exact frequency might vary based on your skin type and specific concerns, so your aesthetician in Downtown Dubai can provide personalized advice.

During a dermaplaning session in Downtown Dubai, your skin will first be thoroughly cleansed. Then, the aesthetician will use a sterile, surgical-grade blade held at a 45-degree angle to gently scrape the surface of your skin, removing dead cells and vellus hair. The procedure is typically painless and usually followed by the application of hydrating serums or a mask to soothe and nourish the newly exposed skin.
